About

My name is Tony Edwards. I am a native of Los Angeles, California. I worked in the entertainment industry as an actor, stand-up comedian and writer for more than 50 years.
Although I never worked as a professional photographer, my skill and passion for photography grew, in large part, from shooting the underground electronic music scene in Los Angeles. In 2002, I went to Burning Man and ended up returning for 15 consectutive years.
In 2015, I was involved in a traffic accident in which my loving wife, Laura, was killed. I was was seriously injured. After my recovery, I decided to take a trip to Southeast Asia. Although I didn’t initally plan to stay, I fell in love with Thailand and I call Phuket home…for now.
In addition to photography, my passions include fitness, performing in and directing community theater and building websites.
However, the above activities are mearly “things to do”. My prime purpose in life is to be “mindful”. In 2016, I created “The Burning Log”. This is where I use my abilities in photography/videography, writing and speaking on camera to facilitate the most important task in my remaining days; to help people get out of their heads and find “The Joy of Being”.
